We call for papers on geospatial big data and AI/deep learning for the sustainable planet as a special issue of international journal Remote Sensing.

The final seminar of the project “Advanced Technology for National Map Updating” on December 15, 2022.

We conducted the AutoCarto 2022 Workshop on Living Structure as a Scientific Foundation of Maps and Mapping on November 1st, 2022 and it attracted over 20 participants from all over the world.

The webinar on AI or deep learning for Topographic Mapping taken place on (August 31, 2021), and it introduces the new technology and its application to cartographic labeling and hydrographic mapping.

We delivered a presentation entitled Living structure as a theoretical foundation for teaching and learning cartography to the online workshop “Challenges and Opportunities of Cartography and GIS Education: in the Classroom and in the Cloud” on October 28, 2021, organized by the ICA Commission on Education and Training.
